Traveled to Mackey Arena last Saturday afternoon, for the SuperHoops New Year's Classic.
In the first game Huntington North played Triton, while the second game action saw Peru play Marion.
Normally this would be just one game for me to cover, with Peru and Marion there as well, I had to shoot for the Peru Tribune and Marion Chronicle as well.
The Huntington North game was a bit of a sleeper game. Triton brought their best game to the floor. Huntington on the other hand, I think just didn't play to their potential.
The second game pitted Peru v. Marion. What a great game. Peru has only lost one game in this early season. I think that they have the best defensive team that I've seen around.
